Veneers
I have been working with the same veneer company for quite a number of years. The selection and quality of their products are second to none. Not only can you choose the species and the sizes that you need, but you can also preview images of the exact pieces before you purchase them.
These veneers are always doubled in thickness for stability and strength, and then used for both custom made and/or existing pick-guards to compliment or contrast the wood-tones of the body. I will also apply them to the full face of an instrument when needed/desired. I have developed methods for adhering these double thickness sheets to the plastic pick-guards as well as to the instrument body that ensures that they are on there for good.
