About Us

I got my first electric bass when I was 14 years old. I found it at a garage sale for 20 bucks. within a couple of years I could kind of play the thing. Now some 45 years and more than a few basses later, while I still pluck away: I am pretty sure that my playing skills peaked in the late 1970’s. The truth is, I was born to be an artist and not a musician.

So a number of years ago I decided to try my hand at sprucing up an inexpensive secondhand bass guitar. Since that first one. I put my touch on around 65 second hand Instruments, with the great majority of those being donated to various musical charities. More recently I have started doing commissions for some well known professional players.
